I finished it but was putting the model in my display cabinet with the rest of my builds to let it fully dry. The wheels have stud holes in them so you have to press quit firmly in order to get the wheels to stay put. I was in the process of doing this in front of the cabinet when the glue on the front suspension let go and I just about dropped the model. I returned to my hobby room to do a quick repair and noticed one back wheel was missing. So there I was re tracing my steps looking for the wheel. Nothing? Now I'm on my hands and knees thinking "If I was a wheel where would I roll"? Still nothing!
So back to the hobby room and peeled some other kits open, none of them are the same (I have a few other Porsche kits). Now I'm ticked. I'll keep looking but I have looked everywhere. The rest of my family is in search mode as well so hopefully someone comes across it. |

I looked around my place. No wheel. I don't think it rolled this far south. LOL
Anyway I hate it when things like that happen. Nice choice on that green paint. _________________ Racecar spelled backwards is still racecaR. |

Thanks for looking.
I'm ticked! But hey what can you do. If it doesn't show up soon I'll make and axle stand, the ones that bolt in place of the wheel using the wheel studs and make it look like it was on purpose. |

Well looky looky. Apparently when I walked into my hobby room to turn on the light that is when the wheel dropped. I can't believe I missed it.
I get so worked up about things like this. What a relief to find it. I had this happen once before and never did find the part after it took flight when I was back grinding a grill for a Camaro. The rag caught the dremel and parts went everywhere. I have a Pro Street Camaro with no rear valence (under the bumper) to this day And to this day it still ticks me off! |

I couldn't believe it when I saw it sitting there. Almost like it was planted there or something. Must be the carpet gods playing with me. |

Thanks Old Rodder.
Those are old builds, I need to finish some new ones now. Maybe this will make it back to my bench.... We will see.

Cool looking off road truck. Did you scratch the chassis? I bet that took more than an hour. LOL _________________ Racecar spelled backwards is still racecaR. |

| LOL Yes took a few for sure. 80% scratch built. Front and back suspension moves up and down the the front wheel are posable. I'm almost thinking maybe I will brush the dust off of it and give it another go. I got totally burnt from it and took a brake from it for a while. |
