Finishing up on the "ROADKIL", I'm returning to my forte', building from salvaged stuff.
This will be a crud rod that I'm rounding up parts for. Frame came from my salvage stash, the big 'tank' came from a junked RC jeep. Half on each side, I combined them. Cab and wheels comes from a box of stuff that another modeler recently sent to me.
Y'know, I have 3 brand new kits that I got for xmas and I'm not touching them yet. This is way more fun! (Those kits will probably be butchered anyway tho, someday.

I can't wait to see where this all ends up. I guess the first question is to chop or not to chop. _________________ Racecar spelled backwards is still racecaR. |

Just about have the 'Roadkil' done, and working on a primered 48 ragtop. But took a little time to look for some engine parts for this beast.
No idea what this engine is, but it looks big enough to build some power on )
Steve Kohler lists a couple of COE's (resin) by R&R:

He also has a cabover 49 Merc by Jimmy flintstone, but I don'y think thats a truck.
Have to contact him for availability _________________ Clay Gratz

I saw the 48 Chevy COE Hauler at the NNL Northwest last year. The guy wanted 55 bucks for it. I thought nope. When I had talked myself into it and went back it was gone. Nice looking stuff.
Clay I agree, whatever kind of engine it is should get the job done. _________________ Racecar spelled backwards is still racecaR. |

Guy who sent me the salvage parts says he thinks it's the Chevy out of the "Paddy Wagon" kit.
Won't be a Chevy when Geezer gets done with it. _________________ Clay Gratz

Thanks, John.
Pretty close to jumping on this baby.
Body doner found the doors and is sending them to me.
And, yeah, I've been thinking of dual blowers. Hope I can find or make enough pullys
I have been appointed as an administrator in a new site for mainly the seedier elements of model automotivedom.
Rats, Beaters, and lots of rust. Be pleased for all of the Shark guys to take a look.
